First & Main considers the safety and quality of its products a high priority. They instruct a worldwide testing laboratory, Intertek Testing Services (a division of Intertek Group), to conduct extensive tests on their plush products manufactured in overseas factories. They are tested for adherence to North American (ASTM F963-07e1) and European (EN-71) toy safety standards, which include inspections for lead content and other safety hazards. Additionally, they conduct various tests on their products at factories' own testing labs - or in First & Main's own lab in Qingdao, China.

First & Main will continue to monitor and test their products, especially as
